My name is Shari Cowart.  I am married and have two children.  My daughter's name is Kristina.  She is 16 years old and a junior at Ware County High.  My son's name is Curtis.  He is 10 years old and a fifth grade student at Wacona.  I enjoy spending time with my family.   My children are active in band and sports, so much of my time is spent with these activities.
    I was born in northern Maine but grew up in South Carolina.  Most of my family is scattered across the United States, but I do get to visit close family in South Carolina on vacations.
    When I am not busy being a taxi service for my children, I enjoy being outside.  I love nature!  Watching animals and weather are my favorite activities.  I especially love bird watching, with hummingbirds being number one on my list.
    This is my third year teaching at Wacona.  I couldn't imagine teaching anywhere else!  The students, parents, and staff here are amazing people to work with.  Everyone is helpful, friendly, andvery supportive.  I want to thank you in advance for helping make this year exceptional!
