Mrs. Fields
Classroom Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
(Adapted
from the Ware County Schools AUP)
The
goal for students in my third grade class is to meet individual
needs and learning. Students will have access to the Internet and other
software programs that promote educational excellence by incorporating
technology in the existing curriculum.
It
is the responsibility of Mrs. Fields to teach the students to:
-
Use appropriate
netiquette.
-
Take care
of all computer equipment.
-
Use software
appropriately.
-
Teach basic
computer skills.
It
is the responsibility of the student to:
-
Use the
computer only with permission.
-
Use computer
equipment for educational purposes only.
-
Treat computers
with respect.
-
Have no
food or drink around computers.
-
Save your
work to your own folder.
-
Stay out
of other student’s folders.
-
Give credit
for someone else’s information.
-
Keep your
information private. Do not tell anyone about yourself.
-
Tell the
teacher immediately if you have an inappropriate site come up. Do not share
with your friends.
-
Follow
netiquette rules on the computer.
-
Have permission
from the teacher to download anything on the computer.
Students
who choose not to be responsible will suffer consequences as Mrs. Fields
decides fair for the violation.
I
understand the student rules and agree to follow them.
