Lots of water.

> How does the fire truck work?  Antonis
Works like a car but its a lot harder to drive.

> How do you go into a building that's on fire without catching on fire yourself?  Caity
Very carefully, and wearing protective suits.

> Why do you have a fire house?  Evie
So we can be there next to the trucks in case there is a fire.

> How much do the clothes weigh?  Huntur
50 lbs.

> What does a Fire Chief do?  Bernard
Watches over and is responsible for the entire fire department and all of the fire trucks.

> Do you have a dog?  Logan
I don't, I have cats.

> How do you see your family if you live at the fire department?  Cassie
I have a regular house and just live there when I am working.

> How do the sirens on the fire truck work?  Michael
A bunch of switches on the dash of the truck make them work.

> Why are your sirens so loud?  Jared
So people can hear us and get out of the way so we can get to the fire quickly.

> How does it feel to be in a fire?  Cody
Hot....very hot.

> Are your hats heavy?  Breann
Yes, they weigh about 6 pounds.

> Why do you sleep at the fire station?  Juan
So we are by the fire trucks in case of an emergency.

> Where do fire houses get dogs from?  Jessica
They used to use dogs to run next to the trucks and scare away people so the trucks wouldn't hit them.

> What do you wear on your back?  Chelsea
An airpack.

> Why do people put fires in woods?  Mason
It is usually an accident.

> How do fires start?  D'Erica
Usually they are caused by an accident.

> Do you drive the fire truck?  Lawton
I used to, now there is another driver.

> How do you get people out of a fire?  Lakendra
We carry them.

> How are fire trucks built and how do they work?  Pete
("Because I want to know how they put all the parts together so one day if I want to whip up something I can.")
They take a lot of work and about 8 months to build one truck.
