Numbers

The kindergarten teachers are still teaching numbers.
Be sure to check your teacher's calendar to find out what number your child is learning this week.
 

Science, Social Studies, and Health
 
 

For the next 3 weeks, kindergarten will do a unit called "Meology".
The children will learn why they are special, unique, and different.
Along with this unit, the children will learn about the 5 senses, body parts, and feelings.

Don't forget to read the AR books.  Be sure to ask questions to make sure your child has comprehended the book.  Sometimes you might have to read the book twice.  Another good way to insure your child remembers the book is to ask questions in the morning.

Please be sure to check your child's backpack every night and initial the behavior note.
This is a very important tool of communication between teacher and parent.
