By Brandon, Nia, Carrie, & Malik

The Great hammerhead has weird name for a weird shark. Great hammerheads swim together in school with other hammerheads such as Bonnetheads. A young hammerhead is called a pup. When they`re grown-up they can weigh over 1,000 pound and be from 12 to 20 feet long.Their young are born live with  13 to 42 at a time but many don`t survive. The great hammerhead lives in tropical waters. The Great hammerhead does`nt need that much protection.
