Mrs. Lewis' Biography

Mrs. Lewis has been the music specialist at Wacona Elementary for 16 years. She also teaches at Center Elementary and the Magnet School. A 1971 Florida State University graduate, she enjoys teaching music, playing the piano, singing in the choir at church, reading mystery novels, and she and her husband Steve enjoy their eleven grandchildren! 

Mrs. Lewis hopes that all her students really enjoy music class and leave elementary school not only with a introduction to the basics in music, but also, with a thirst for more experiences in music.

Mrs. Lewis designs her curriculum to incude singing movement, folk dance music history, choreography, instrumental performance, music notion, music reading, study of the orchestra, classical music, playing the soprano recorder, and creativity in movement and performance.
