Look who's racking up "AR" points!!!!

Students have opportunities to read certain books called "Accelerated Reader" books.  After they read these books, the students can take a computerized comprehension test in their classroom on one of five computers to see how well they read the book and receive their score after completing the test.  When students reach the increments listed below, they are awarded prizes from the school.

For instance, when students have accumulated 25 points, they have already received a certificate from the principal, a "Cut in Line" pass, a Jolly Rancher Lollipop, Church's Chicken coupon, a special AR pencil, a homework pass, an ice cream certificate, and lastly, 30 minutes of time on the computer at the teacher's discretion.  Students love to "rack" up those AR points.  Please encourage your child to read and "rack up those AR points."
