Art is Awesome!

Miss Donna Mims
Art Teacher

Hi, I am Miss Donna Mims and I teach art at Wacona and Williams Heights Elementary Schools. I am thankful and blessed to be given the opportunity to teach art to many of the children of our community. I began teaching at Wacona in the fall of 1991. Becoming an art teacher was a choice I made because I was an artist who also desired to work with children. By teaching art I was honored with the opportunity to combine both desires to do art and encourage children. Helping children discover their creative abilities makes for an exciting time when looking at the expressions of joy on their smiling faces.
