One of our third grade
classes is participating
in the Monster Exchange
project.
These students were
divided into groups and
each group designed
a monster.
They drew the monsters
on paper, and gave the monsters names.
Then they had to describe
the monsters in words.
The written description
were sent to another third grade class.
The class we exchanged
with is
Mr. Jones' class in
New Jersey.
You can find our more
about them by clicking

We are near the Okefenokee
Swamp.)
Mr. Jones' class read
our descriptions and redrew our monsters.
They sent us descriptions
of the monsters they drew.
We redrew their monsters.
Then we all uploaded
our monsters to the internet
to see how well we
did in copying each others'
monsters using just
descriptions!
