Food Plan

Kids need at least one food from every food group a day. This is an example of a kid’s menu, an orange, chicken, rice, ice cream, green beans, and pretzel sticks. This is the type of a kid’s menu.

For breakfast you should eat a fruit, dairy product, a grain, and needs protein. Lunch and dinner you should have protein, raw vegetable, cook vegetable, and a starch and grain. You should have one serving of all that. If you eat before you go to bed you should have a fruit or a dairy product. Daily you should only have one fat. You should have 5 to 9 servings a day.

The basic 4 food groups are

  • Dairy Products – 2  or more glasses of milk  for kids l or more glasses for adults and total servings for both are 2 or more servings.
  • Meat Group – 2 servings a day.

Grain Group – 1 serving a day.
