Animal Cells

Graphic by Blake

Animal cells don't have quite as many things inside them as plant cells do. Animal cells don't have chloroplasts, or cell walls. Animal cells are eukaryotic. This means they have nuclei.

Every part of an animal's body has cells. We have muscle cells, skin cells, blood cells, heart cells, and lots more!

Imagine:  What would happen to a house if it didn't have walls? Write a paragraph about the things that would happen to it. What would happen to a cell if it didn't have a cell wall? Write a paragraph about what would happen to the cell if it didn't have a cell wall.
