Architects design buildings.  Engineers build the buildings.

Think about it: Try to build a house or other building with Lincoln Logs, Legos, or blocks. Do you have to be careful when you stack them up? Are there ways you can make your house to make it more sturdy? What about a real house? Would you have to plan it a certain way to be sure it's safe?
