Georgia has a lot of plants.  Some of the plants include the Live Oak, the Cherokee Rose, the loblolly pine, and the sunflowers.  Georgia is known for the three ‘Ps”.  The three “Ps” are peaches, peanuts, and pecans.  The live oak is Georgia’s state tree.  It grows to be huge.  The live oak is found in the Coastal Plains part of the state.  Sometimes it has lots of moss growing on it.  The leaves are green all year round.  That’s why it is called the Live Oak     The Cherokee Rose is a climbing rose.  It is the state flower.  Stories that have been told about the Cherokee Rose says that it grows along the Trail of Tears.  It grows there because the Trail of Tears was sad.  Peaches, peanuts, and pecans grow in Georgia.  Georgia pecans are sold all over the world.

The pine tree grows all over the state of Georgia.  Sunflowers are really pretty growing along the roads and in gardens.
