“ Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.” – President John F. Kennedy

During his presidency, John F. Kennedy made several important speeches. The first speech was his Inaugural address on January 20, 1961. This speech was the first to talk about the threat of a nuclear attack. J.F.K.’s speeches were compared to that of Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, and Franklin Roosevelt.

On May 25, 1961, he made a speech to congress on the state of the union. In this speech, he asked Congress for space activities. Before the decade was out, he wanted the nation to land a man on the moon and return him safely to earth.

The last speech J.F.K. made was on November 21, 1963. He spoke at the Aerospace Medical Center. In his speech, he spoke of the advantage of medical space research. He thought this could help the environment and also modern medicine.
