Rocks can change into other types of rocks. When they change, they go through the rock cycle. When rocks are exposed to heat and pressure, they usually change. They can also change because of wind and water. Sometimes they can break apart and form sediments and become new rocks that way.

How can an igneous rock become a sedimentary rock? How can a metamorphic rock become an igneous rock?
