There are special scientists who study stars. They are called astronomers. One of the most famous astronomers was named Nicolaus Copernicus. He figured out how the planets orbit the sun. Another one was named Galileo. He was the first person to use a telescope to study the stars. A telescope is an instrument all astronomers use.
