Homework

Now that you are in first grade, you will have some required
homework assignments.  Please note the following:

1. We have weekly Spelling, Phonics, and Math Tests (usually
on Fridays).  We will also have some review tests from
time to time.

2. Your child will bring home their homework folder with
daily work and homework inside.  Your job will be to
check their folders, review their daily work, and help them
with their homework until they can do it independently.
Always check their homework to be sure they understand
what they're doing on that particular skill.

3. They will bring their folder in every morning for me to check
and return....Students will be rewarded for returning their
homework on our Good Behavior Board.

4. On Fridays, they will have daily work in their folders.  On
the homework side, you may find lunch envelopes, notes
from teacher, important information from school.  So please
