A verb is: A word that tells what you're doing, or some kind of action. Action verbs tell what the subject of a sentence did, does, or will do. Some examples of action verbs are words like "talk", "type", or "run". Some verbs are linking verbs. These verbs link subjects to words in the predicate. Linking verbs are words like "is" or "am". For example, "He is driving me crazy." The word "is" links "he" and "driving". Verbs can have tenses. The tenses are past, present, and future. Past tense is when things happened in the past. For
