Winners of the county Tech Fair will be invited to participate in the State Tech Fair.

 

 

Tech Fair in a Nutshell

 

Planning to do an awesome project involving technology this year? Enter it into our second technology fair!

 

Divisions are for grades 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12.

 

Categories:

Case Modification (Decorate a working computer)

Digital Video Editing (Video projects)

Graphic Design (Digital photography and graphics)

Hardware (Building a computer)

Multimedia (PowerPoint, KidPix, etc.)

Intranet/Internet (Web pages, blogs, games, etc.)

Non-Multimedia (Word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)

 

All work must be completed by a student or student team.

 

Want to compete? Here's what you need to do:

1. On or before December 1st, click on "Registration" and print the registration form and mail it in.

2. Complete your project and burn it to CD.

3. Complete your notebook as you work on your project.

4. Be sure you look at the Rubrics and judging information as you do your work on your project.

5. Bring your CD with your project and your notebook to the Tech Fair on January 20.

6. Be prepared to talk to the judges about your project and demonstrate how you created it.

7. Enjoy the awards ceremony!
