Dr. Jacqueline Turner
Principal
| Dr. Turner is the newly
appointed principal at Wacona Elementary School. She most recently served
as Assistant Principal at Ware County Middle School. Before entering administration,
she served as the school counselor at Ware County Middle School. She served
as a classroom teacher at Center Jr. High and Waycross Middle School. She
holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Waycross College,
Bachelor's in Business Administration from Valdosta State University, and
a Master's of Education from Georgia Southern University. She earned her
Educational Specialist and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova
Southeastern University. She and her husband Swails are the proud parents
of three sons: Swails, Justin, and Jordon. According to Dr. Turner,
things are off to a fantastic beginning at Wacona Elementary where students
are "Anchored in Excellence". |
