Vocabulary Words we used for our games and puzzles:

 

 

Tools – arrowhead, plows, axes

 

Cherokee – adopted the white men’s ways, had their own alphabet

  

Clothes – breechcloth, deerskin

 

Homes – were around the plaza, huts

 

Plaza – used for dancing, ceremonies, and games

 

Travel – by horses or by foot

 

Weapons - bow and arrow

 

Sequoyah – made the Cherokee alphabet

 

Tomochichi – Helped the English and the Indians get along

 

Mico – a Creek chief

 

Creek Indians – leaders often changed
