Tall grasses-lots of birds-turtle crossings-mucky mud-baby shrimp

Marshes are an important part of costal life.  Rushes, sedges, and grasses make good homes for lots of little animals.  Animals like shrimp and small fish hide in the grasses and eat decaying mash plants.  Birds find good fishing in the grasses and shallow water.
